Brian Block is a managing partner of Javitch Block LLC. Brian is the practice manager for Javitch Block. Brian joined the firm in 2003.

Brian received a B.S. degree from Indiana University. Brian received his J.D. from Cleveland Marshall College of Law in 2003 and is licensed to practice in Ohio.

Brian is a Board Member of National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys (NARCA) and is also a member of Debt Buyers Association (DBA), Ohio Creditors Bar Association and the Cuyahoga County Metropolitan Bar Association.

Bruce Block is a managing partner of Javitch Block LLC. Bruce has been with the firm since its creation in 1991.

Bruce received a B.A. in 1973 from American University. He received his J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 1976. Bruce has specialized in creditors’ right law since 1979.

Daniel Bogatz joined Javitch Block LLC in 2016.

Daniel Bogatz is admitted to practice in the state of Indiana.

Daniel received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from UCLA in 2010.  Daniel received his J.D. from Boston College Law School in 2013, admitted to practice in Massachusetts and Indiana, and the US Federal District Court for the Northern District of Indiana.

Ashlee Boswell joined Javitch Block LLC in 2016.

Ashlee received a B.A. in Communications and Information Sciences from the University of Alabama in 2008.  Ashlee later received her J.D. from Southern University Law Center in 2012.

Ashlee is admitted to the Texas State Bar.

Ashlee is a member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and the Texas Young Lawyers Association.

Jake Figelman joined Javitch Block LLC in the summer of 2006.  After first having received his B.A. from the University of Maryland in 2000 and his J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 2004.

Jake is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute Medal of Excellence; CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in the studies of Bankruptcy and Secured Transactions; and the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association.

Jake is admitted to practice in both Ohio and Texas. 

Stephanie Gilley joined Javitch Block LLC in 2011. Stephanie received her B.A. in Political Science and Psychology, graduating Cum Laude from Miami University in 2005. Stephanie received her J.D. from Cleveland State University Cleveland Marshall College of Law in 2008.

Stephanie is a member of the Ohio Bar Admission since 2008.

Karen Guenther joined Javitch Block LLC in 2016.

Karen graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a B.A. in Marketing and Advertising in 2006.  She went on to receive her MBA from Texas A&M Commerce in 2011 and her J.D. from St. Mary's University School of Law in 2014.

Karen is admitted to the State Bar of Texas, as well as, the U.S. Tax Court.

Karen holds memberships with Phi Delta Phi, International Legal Honor Society and the American Bar Association.

Melissa Hager is a partner with Javitch Block LLC. Melissa is also the Legal Process Manager. Melissa oversees attorneys, legal support and processing staff for the firm. Melissa joined the firm in 2000.

Melissa received a B.A. degree from Miami University of Ohio. Melissa received her J.D. from the University of Toledo College of Law in 2000 and is licensed to practice in Ohio. Additionally, Melissa is licensed to practice law in the Northern District of Ohio.

Kevin Harman joined Javitch Block LLC in 2015.  

Kevin received his B.A. from Bowling Green State University in 2009. He attained his J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 2013.

Ted Konstantinopoulos is a partner with Javitch Block LLC. Ted oversees general and administrative duties for the firm. Ted also manages the bankruptcy practice for the firm. Ted joined the firm in 2001.

Ted received a B.A. degree from the University of Akron in 1991. Ted received his J.D. from the University of Akron Law School in 1995 and is admitted to practice in Ohio and Kentucky. Ted is also admitted to practice law in the Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana Bankruptcy Courts.

Robert Hogan is a partner with Javitch Block LLC. Bob is the client lead for the firm’s foreclosure and subrogation practice. Bob joined the firm in 1991.

Bob received a B.A. from Union College in 1979. Bob received his J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 1982. Bob is admitted to practice in Ohio and Kentucky. Bob is also admitted to practice law in the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio, Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky and the Southern District of Indiana.

Eric Kyser joined Javitch Block LLC in 2016. Eric received his B.A. from Ohio University in 2009. Eric then received his J.D. from Michigan State University College of Law in 2015.

William McCann is a partner with Javitch Block LLC. Bill is the client lead for the firm’s consumer commercial practice. Bill joined the firm in 2004.

Bill received a B.A. from Ohio University 1996 Bill received an MSSA from Case Western Reserve University in 2000 and received his J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 2005 Bill is admitted to practice in Ohio. Bill is also admitted to practice law in the Northern District of Ohio.

Marc Melamed joined Javitch Block LLC in 1991. Marc received his A.B. from Washington University in 1973.  He then received his J.D. from Cleveland Marshall College of Law in 1977.

Marc is a member of the U.J.A. National Young Leadership Cabinet and acts as Vice President on the Jewish Community Center Board of Trustees.

Marc is admitted to practice in Ohio.

Tyler Lansden joined Javitch Block LLC in 2013.

Tyler graduated from John Marshall Scholar at Marshall University with a B.A. in History in 2009.  Tyler then went on to get his J.D. from West Virginia University College of Law in 2012.

Tyler is a current member of the National Association of Subrogation Professionals.  

Tyler is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Appeals of the State of West Virginia and the United States District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia. 

Emily Nenni joined Javitch Block LLC in 2014. Emily received her B.S. in Communication and Journalism from the University of Tennessee.  Then Emily received her J.D. from Duquesne University in 2009.

Emily is licensed to practice law in both North Carolina and Tennessee.

Emily is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association and Knox County Bar.

In 2010, Emily received the “North Carolina Bar Association Younger Lawyer Outstanding Service” award from 28th Judicial District Bar for her commitment to pro bono service. From 2010-2012 she served as the Secretary for the 28th Judicial District Bar Young Lawyers Division. She also served from 2010-2012 as the State Liaison for the North Carolina Association of Women Attorneys- Western North Carolina Chapter.

James Oh is a partner with Javitch Block LLC. James is also the Compliance Officer. James oversees litigation and regulatory compliance for the firm. James joined the firm in 1999.
